This as well as the Basic Obedience is interchangeable depending on the goals and expectations of each individual student. This is the advantage of private lessons, I can work with you individually to fit your needs versus a set class lesson.
After your dog has completed the Basic Obedience (on leash) private lesson, you can then continue on to the Advanced Obedience level. Your dog must first succeed with these commands on leash with distractions in order to continue on to Advanced Obedience.
During the Advanced Obedience Private Lesson I will continue the vocabulary and comands to help you establish yourself as the leader of the pack. Some examples of these helpful commands are: "Home" or "Bed", "leave it", "off", "wait"
How the class works
You and your dog will meet with me weekly in your home. I will instruct you what the lesson plan is, show you an example with your own dog, then have you repeat the training with your dog. I will go over things with you to improve on and help you perfect your training methods. I will then give you homework to work on during the week until our next training session. During the next session I will ask you to show me how you and your dog are coming along with the first lesson. I will then help you if you are making any mistakes and have you work on it. I will then also start you on the next phase of the training and give you homework for the coming week. Training can last anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on the learning rate of you and your dog. During the Advanced Obedience I will expect you to understand the basics of teaching working with your dog and you will be working alot more independantly with your dog. I will continue to set an example first or may use one of my own dogs to help you understand what we are trying to acheive.

If you are not within my driving range prices are subject to raise depending on your distance from me.
Payment is accepted in full amount for all training sessions expected or individually for each session. Payment is required (full amount or one session) before training session.
After having a session with me you are always welcome to e-mail or call me with any questions about your homework or the behavior of the dog for the week. I am always willing to share advice and help the dogs and their owners succeed.
